No. There were no radios in WWI planes. The wingmen should be pretty much independent.
The post above should not be taken seriously.

I totally agree with TZ. It's a contest of individual skills, not calling your buddies to help you at the very right moment

Well doh, of course we will have wingmen that will help you with your mission, just like in TT.

Well... can't think why we couldn't have those in multiplayer, too, but that'd be quite a radical change, wouldn't it... and besides, we were supposed to have many human players per country, right? Or did I mix it up with something else...

Anyway, can't say why not, but don't think we'd have those, and wouldn't want to have them

As we are supposed to have 3 planes per a country, at least it was so when I last heard of it, we have no need for computer controlled wingmen.

I'm pretty sure that online you could have wingmen played by other people, and in the missions you would get friendly planes that help you out, but I don't think Radio communitcation would be included (Like pressing a button to make everyone join in the fight, for example)

Have the AI in planes dropping bombs been discussed yet?

The main point is, AI planes in TT2 should not, and will not, have the same accurary than in the original TT. Plus, the depth of the battlefield adds a random value to bombings...
