Retailer wish list

Postby Dragst » Fri Oct 06, 2006 2:17 pm

Folks, please reply to this thread all (?) the favourite shops you would like to see Triplane Turmoil II in when the boxed edition is out! Make sure you enter the name, website URL if possible, geographical and national location, and extra contact info if available (for example if you know personally some guy from there who you have discussed the matter with). I'll show you:

Savepoint, located in Finland, Vantaa, Myyrmäki. http://www.savepoint.fi/ (finnish only, sorry). One of my - if not even THE - personal favourite as game shop, managed by two really nice guys who are games themselves. Yes, they're probably first to have TT2 on their shelves :)

A really good game store with friendly and handy sellers. I and most of my friends buy all games there. They also just opened own webshop (for finnish only).

I haven't been able to purache TT2 because I don't have a creditcard and my dad is hunting in Lapland and he is not able to lend his card. So getting the game to local store would be wonderful :d

But behold; You don't need your dad, just get a visa electron since that's usable :) (nordea or sampo's, with internet bank access)

Do you have any idea, when TT 2 would be in shops?
I mean, should I wait, or just order it immediatly. :)

Just order it immediately ;)

I don't know, the best I can say that it should be manufactured in - say - few weeks. How long does it take to get the game actually really on the shelf, so to speak... I have no idea. Every firm and shop has it's own thing they need to do; with smaller ones it's probably quite straightforward and fast, but with larger chains like EB games or so, we need to go through it with people who even are not in Finland at all B)

I want you all to know that we're doing our best, and I hope to see the game in the shops A.S.A.P.! But there still the limit how fast things can happen :) For example, we haven't done any marketing yet at all, because we first need to get the box version out!

Well now!

For certain, I can guarantee you at least two places already!

The shops who we already have made some kind of agreement or deal with are Savepoint, Myyrmanni and an internet game retailer pelaajanvalinta.fi.

Woohoo! I will inform you of more when the wheels turn forward again with interesting results.

Trololo. I'm sure these guys are running a profitable and respectable business if they have to "advertise" by spamming... :)
