Bombing and the darned finns

You should definetly make bombing enemy buildings worth points, otherwise, there is no score gained for being a bomber such as the russian one.

You don't! ;)

Well, it's the hardest one to fly anyway and you need to be creative with the motor when flying with it.

Bombing accuracy is used as a modifier when calculating the stat scores, so hitting buildings _does_ count :)

I kinda meant In a game, so, if your playing a match your TEAM gets points for blowing up enemy buildings. This would be a viable strategy for planes like the russian one and the finnish one, who do not dogfight well (and therefore cannot get kills)

Well, it might be a good idea! What becomes of the dogfighting though, I disagree as the Finnish plane is one of the most deadly in dogfight if you know what you're doing! B)

Problem is the keystroke buffer on a keyboard, ATM, playing with my freinds requires motor toggle on, so as to not use up unneccecary keys. This makes the finnish plane difficult to use, though i will admit i have gotten better at it as of late.

I dont think Dogfighting will leave the game if you make bombing worth points. Because eventually the bombers will attempt to shoot each other down to stop them from getting points for bombing, which will lead to fighter escorts, which will lead to some dogfighting and some bombing.

A plane without bombs almost always beats one with.

Look into that! it could make organised play more fun.

Like I said it might be a good idea! :) We'll keep that in mind, let's see what's going to happen! :razz:

That threw me off, i thought you meant if bombing worth points is added what will become of dogfighting, as if it would leave. No worries, im sure english isnt your native language.

One question on bombing, how does it work, because for instance the windmill in the back of fin mission one is impossible to hit i swear

i had a bomb drop right in front of it
like

^=windmill bits
#=Ground
X= my bomb

Just in front, as in like the windmill was directly behind where the bomb hit, what the heck?
