Split screen

Postby Dragst » Sun Dec 28, 2003 3:29 pm

Hey folks, just a short comment on the split screen issue.

It appears everything's going to be ok! :) Probably even in a fashion of allowing 2-, 3- and 4-screen possibilities.

Wow... How would that work though?

Postby dekstar » Mon Jan 05, 2004 12:37 am

I cant see how it would work apart from confusing things... and it would be even worse for people with 15''s like me. Unless of course you mean the ever great triplane 1 style split screen in which case ROCK ON!!

Got to agree, the Triplane way of splitting the screen is great. Innovative, even

Except when you are moving from a layer to another and you are in the dead spot where you can't see your plane. That's just lame (90 % of my plane losses are caused when enemies shoot me while I'm flying in the dead zone)

Most people only fly the horizontal line, TZ :P

Myself, I've always wondered about it. You'd imagine that you'd have no idea where you're coming off when you're on the edge, but usually you don't even notice

Horizontal flying is ultimately boring. I always fly in vertical line instead, just to give my opponents a chanse

Uh great, lets rock... Anyway, i also hate when you fly out the edge of the screen and they shoot you down. But you should try it with plane collisions on. Oh by the way dragst, will the servers decide to have all the plane collisions and stuff?
